Account Deletion

Last updated 10 August 2026

This page explains how to permanently delete a Hridyaa account and everything stored in it. It applies to accounts created on app.hridyaa.com and in the Hridyaa Android app (com.hridyaa.app) — they are the same account.

Delete it yourself, right now

  1. Sign in at app.hridyaa.com. (In the Android app: Settings → Delete account brings you here.)
  2. Go to Settings → Delete account.
  3. Type your hotel's name to confirm, then choose Delete account permanently.

Deletion runs immediately, in the same request: the database records are erased and the ID document and attachment files are removed from the server. It is not a deactivation or a hide. In the rare case a step fails midway, your account is already locked and marked deleted at that moment, and an automatic sweep completes the removal — it does not wait for anyone to notice. Either way, it cannot be undone.

Only the hotel owner can delete the account — deleting it removes every staff login along with everything else, so it is not a decision a receptionist can make. If you are a staff member and want your own login removed, ask your owner to deactivate it under Staff.

Or ask us to do it

Email sales@hridyaa.com from the email address registered on the account, with the subject "Delete my account" and your hotel's name. We verify that the request comes from the account owner — that's the only thing we will ask about — and action it within 30 days, usually much sooner. You will receive a confirmation email when it is done.

What gets deleted

  • All bookings, reservations and registered booking guests
  • All guest records — names, contact details, and every photograph of a government ID document (files removed from disk, not just unlinked)
  • All payments, folios and folio lines, the day book, cash drawer sessions and movements, GST invoices and credit notes
  • All staff logins, roles, sessions, password history, sign-in records and API tokens
  • All rooms, room types, housekeeping assignments and notifications
  • All support tickets, messages and attached files
  • Push-notification and device registrations for the Android app, and every active sign-in token
  • Our billing records for your subscription

What may be retained

Nothing from the list above. Two narrow things remain, and we tell you about them here rather than in a footnote: our internal administrative log records that a deletion was carried out (the fact of it — not your data), and ordinary web-server access logs age out on their own short schedule. Neither contains your guests' information.

Before you delete

  • Take your records with you. The day book, profit & loss and balance sheet each have Export buttons, and a guest's ID documents download as a single PDF. After deletion there is nothing left to export.
  • Cancel any active subscription first if you do not want it to continue — see the Cancellation & Refunds page. Deleting the account ends the service, but paid subscriptions are not refundable: deleting does not return any part of an amount already paid for the current period.

If a guest wants their data removed

Hridyaa stores guest information on behalf of the hotel that collected it. If you stayed at a hotel that uses Hridyaa, ask that hotel — under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act they are the Data Fiduciary and they control the record. If the hotel asks us to remove it, we act on their instruction. More in our Privacy Policy.
