Running The Paprika, Dehradun, every day

Hotel software your staff can actually use.

Bookings, check-in, guest ID, cash book and GST — in plain English, on any phone or laptop. Built by a hotelier who got tired of software made by people who've never worked a front desk.

First month free · then ₹499 for the next 12 months

That's less than one month of what most hotels pay a CA for GST filing alone.

No card needed · The demo needs no signup at all · Your data stays yours

The Hridyaa dashboard showing 70% occupancy, tonight's arrivals and departures, money still to collect, and a seven-day booking calendar
The Paprika in Dehradun runs on this every single day — every feature exists because that front desk needed it.
What it does

Everything the front desk needs. Nothing it doesn't.

No training course, no manual. Show someone once and they can run the desk.

Bookings in one screen

Name, room, dates, rate. The total works itself out as you type, and you can take the advance right there.

Check-in with ID capture

Register every guest, snap their ID with your phone camera, and collect payment — all on the same screen.

Cash book that adds up

Money in, money out, running balance. Nothing is ever deleted — voided entries stay visible, so you can see exactly what changed and who changed it.

GST done properly

Tax invoices with the right CGST/SGST or IGST split, plus GSTR-1 and a year-end summary your CA will actually accept.

Night audit, guarded

Close the day in one place — and it tells you in plain words what's about to happen before anything is final.

Staff, with limits

Give reception their own login. They see what they need; your accounts stay yours.

The daily loop

Guest walks in. Three steps. Done.

This is the whole job, forty times a day. It should be fast, and hard to get wrong.

STEP 1

Take the booking

One form. Name, room, dates, rate — the total adds itself up, and you can take an advance on the spot.

STEP 2

Check them in

Tap "Check in". Register the guests, photograph their ID, and the room flips to occupied.

STEP 3

Take the money

Charges, paid, outstanding — right there on the same screen. Collect and you're done.

The actual software

This is the real thing. Not a mockup.

Every screen below is the real product. Nothing drawn for a brochure.

Every booking, at a glance Who's in, who's due, and exactly who still owes you money — flagged in red so it can't be missed.

Arrivals, sorted Who's arriving and who's already in-house. Tap a guest to register them, photograph their ID and take payment — one screen.
What it stops costing you

Three bills a small hotel pays. You already pay two of them.

These are the real figures from The Paprika in Dehradun — the hotel Hridyaa was built to run.

GST filing, every month Your CA prepares the invoices and files GSTR-1. Hridyaa produces both — there's nothing left to prepare. ₹2,000/mo Now nothing

A day book app A separate subscription just to record money in and money out. It's built in here, tied to your bookings. ₹1,000/mo Now nothing
Balance sheet & income tax prep Year-end work your accountant charges for. Hridyaa fills in what it already knows before you start. ₹10,000/yr Mostly done

Why us

"I built this because I run a hotel. Every screen exists because my own front desk needed it."

Most hotel software is built by software people. It's full of words like reconcile, folio and Cr/Dr, and it assumes your receptionist has an accounting degree.

Hridyaa says "money in" and "money out". It warns you before you do something you can't undo. It works on the phone your staff already have in their pocket.

And it isn't theoretical. It runs The Paprika in Dehradun every day — when something doesn't hold up at a real front desk, it gets fixed that week.

First month free

Then ₹499 covers the next 12 months.

₹36,000 ₹499for 13 months

₹36,000 is what a hotel like yours already pays each year — ₹2,000 a month for GST filing plus ₹1,000 a month for a day book app. Hridyaa does both.

Every feature. Unlimited bookings. Unlimited rooms and staff. No salesperson calling you, and no card needed to start.

✓ First month free — no card to start ✓ Your data is always yours — export any time ✓ 60 days' notice before renewal ✓ Founding hotels keep a permanent discount
Start your free month
Renews at ₹499/month after your first year. We put that here rather than in the small print, because a price you find out about at renewal is a trick and this isn't one. Year one is an introductory rate for the hotels helping us build this — ₹499 for twelve months isn't what it costs to run. By the time it renews you'll have a year of your own records to judge it on, at least 60 days' notice, and every export button you need to walk away.

We're growing this with the hotels who join early. Tell us what your desk needs — that's how it gets built.

Straight answers

Questions hoteliers actually ask

Is it really free? What's the catch?

Your first month is free, no card required. After that, ₹499 covers the next 12 months — so it's 13 months for ₹499, less than one month of what you're probably paying your CA for GST filing alone.

From year two it renews at ₹499 a month. We put that here rather than in the small print, because a price you find out about at renewal is a trick and this isn't one. Year one is an introductory rate for the hotels helping us build this; ₹499 for twelve months isn't what it costs to run. By the time it renews you'll have a year of your own records to judge it on, at least 60 days' notice, and every export button you need to walk away.

Can I try it before signing up?

Yes — open the demo and you're straight into a working hotel with rooms, guests and bookings already in it. No form, no card, no email. It's your own private copy, so take a booking, collect a payment, run the night audit — break whatever you like. It's a short-lived sandbox that cleans itself up, so nothing you do there is saved — when you're ready for a hotel that keeps your data, create your free account.

What happens to my data if I leave?

It's yours, and you don't have to ask us for it. The day book, profit & loss and balance sheet each have Export XLS and Export PDF buttons on the screen, and a guest's ID documents download as a single PDF. Take your records whenever you want — no ticket, no waiting on us.

My staff aren't good with computers. Will they manage?

That's the whole reason Hridyaa exists. There's no jargon — it says "money in", not "Cr". Taking a booking is one screen, and check-in and payment happen together. Show someone once and they can run the desk.

Do I need to install or buy anything?

No. It runs in any browser — laptop, tablet or the phone in your pocket. Nothing to install, nothing to maintain, no server to buy.

Does it handle GST properly?

Yes. Proper tax invoices with the correct CGST/SGST or IGST split based on your guest's state, plus GSTR-1 and a financial-year summary you can hand straight to your CA.

How long does setup take?

Minutes. Create your account, add your rooms, and start taking bookings. If you'd rather we set it up with you, message us and we'll do it together.

Try it tonight.

Take one real booking on it and see how it feels. That's the honest test — and it costs you nothing.
